Ralph Markwood and his trained staff at Chapel Hill Building Co., did an outstanding job expanding our home with a back porch and dramatically increasing the functionality and beauty of our interior. Ralph worked on bookshelves and counters throughout our home. Besides being the owner and onsite manager of this major project, Ralph’s artistic talents as a carpenter with skill and vision was nothing less than outstanding. The building and the interior were finished in a timely fashion. Ralph’s group always had the house and back porch cleared out every night, so there was never an inconvenience for me and my family. Being an empty nester, my wife and I have the house on the market. When potential buyers visit, they always comment on how beautiful our back porch and our many bookshelves are. Our house has greatly appreciated in value due to Ralph’s creativity.

Ralph Markwood, is a wounded warrior with a purple heart from his tour of duty in Vietnam. With his wounds, we are very fortunately that Ralph is still with us. The fact that he is an expert carpenter, even though his right hand was blown off in combat, is a true inspiration to all Americans.
